Nomad™

We use the Nomad digital radiograph (X-ray) system to allow us to reduce the radiation exposure to the patient. It also allows X-ray images to be taken and viewed faster saving time chair side.

Dental X-ray help the dentist visualize areas of the mouth that cannot be seen by a simple oral examination. This will aid the dentist in early detection of dental, problems in early stages which can potentially save the patient money, unnecessary discomfort, and possibly the patient's life. Dental X-rays can reveal things like bone loss, cysts, tooth decay, abscesses, tumors, and other abnormalities not seen by a visual examination.

Soprolife™

SOPROFILE will allow us to see what was once invisible to the naked eye. It offers us the ability to see tooth decay at different stages of its development, this allowing us to determine the most appropriate treatment. The auto fluorescence technology in SOPROFILE™ will allow us to detect decay - even in it's earliest stages. Early detection will allow us to utilize the most conservative and least expensive treatment.

Anasthesia Wand- STA single tooth anesthesia

The Wand_® Computer Guided Anesthesia System takes the guesswork out of the administration of anesthetic by providing real-time visual and audible feedback via the CompuFlo system with DPS Dynamic Pressure Sensing technology. During an injection with the The Wand_® Computer Guided Anesthesia System, the CompuFlo system with DPS Dynamic Pressure Sensing Technology continuously monitors the exit pressure of the anesthetic in real-time during all phases of administration.

In addition to its general use for all dental injections, the The Wand_® Computer Guided Anesthesia System is uniquely capable of predictably and more comfortably administering single tooth anesthesia into the Periodontal Intraligamentary (PDL) space, something never before possible using conventional techniques. This injection results in the patient having no collateral numbness and no pain along with instant, predictable anesthesia. VELscope VX

At Artistic Works Dentistry, we have the most powerful technology available for assisting in the discovery of oral mucosal abnormalities, VELscope Vx plays a key role in the early discovery of such abnormalities, which can be critical in the fight against oral cancer.

When used as an adjunctive aid in combination with traditional oral cancer examination procedures, VELscope facilitates the early discovery and visualization of mucosal abnormalities, including oral cancer. In one or two minutes, with no rinses or stains required, a VELscope system examination helps healthcare professionals assess their patients' overall oral health.

SOL® The Portable Diode Laser minimizes the amount of bleeding and recovery time for oral surgery. If you are a candidate for Scaling and Root Planning (commonly known as deep cleaning), a technique utilized to treat gum disease, the portable diode laser allows our dentist and hygienists to treat such conditions effectively with minimal bleeding.
